boys speak in rhythm.

the lack of updates between june and now makes it seem like nothing happened, when in fact, SO much happened. i feel like summer kept me so busy that i've grown into a brand new person. i feel more mature, more experienced, much happier, closer to those that mean the world to me. the latter is probably the best feeling thus far... such a great feeling that i can't even begin to describe it because i may not stop. i also spent lots of time reading. the first summer in a LONG time where i read one book after the other. i think i realize now that reading REALLY helps my writing. reading all those books may have helped me grow as a writer, but i guess we'll see if that one is true.

i'm now in the world of hospitality. i must say it's better than retail. i don't regret the Z at all. i made soo many friends, learned more about home furnishings than i probably will ever need to know, and worked my ass off to place high in the food chain of store 57. it was a difficult decision to leave, but things change, and people move on. i've moved on to something i enjoy, although i admit it can be intimidating at times. just being brand new to everything all over again takes a little getting used to. luckily i work with a helpful and encouraging staff that eases my nervousness, some people more than others. but all in all, i am enjoying it.

other than the career change, life is still the same. i'm still madly in love with my boyfriend. still in school. still doing marching band. still an english major, hoping to have an emphasis in greek mythology. still teaching... sorta, but i'll save that for another day.
